  1. There are two Frans that I know of.  One is on College a few doors west of Yonge.  I don't like that one.  The music was too loud and I felt it could be cleaner.  It may be but it didn't feel it.

The other is on Shuter and Victoria ( believe in the Victoria Hotel).  I've been there a few times.  The food quite OK and the prices were reasonable.

  2. oh wao, never been to Frans - gotta try the $20 burger. I just had lunch at Prego and the Kobe Burger was $21 but definitely worth it - their Kobe steak is over $50 so I guess lunch burger is a bargain

    - let us know how Frans was

  3. Larie is right about the 2 but the one she said was near the Victoria Hotel is actually between Adelaide and Richmond St's down the block from the Cambridge Suites Hotel, tucked in a back area off the 2 main streets, very easy to find, and the one at College near Yonge is just east of the Metro Police Headquarters building at bay, they have a website if you want to take a look.

  4. Frans is great because it is 24 hours--- other than that nothing spectacular-- prices are probably in the 7.95-12.95 range for mains---

If you are looking for 24 hour restaurants in the area there is a golden griddle down the street--

If you are just looking for general restaurants (at reasonable rates) there are a variety on yonge- a little farther south- anythign from chinese to  lebanese to shopping mall foodcourts-
