Free music???????help!

how can i get free music? or mp3s?

are there any sites taht actually work?

i don't want any scams and viruses.

please help!

Go to Limewire.com.  Download the free software (they have versions for every operating system), and install it.  After that, you can download as much free music as you want.

ok this really works i promise,

go to youtube and find your music video to the song you want.

copy the URL (example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6zdhHLvT...

and then go to www.catchvideo.net (the websites a little slow so give it a minute) after it loads copy the URL into the URL space they give you and then click the "Audio Only (mp3)" button and then hit convert and download,

after thats done click download.

then you can open it but saving its best and if u have to put it on to zune drag your saved file to the place where you put your music

and if u r going to put it on itunes it should work the same as zune but if it doesnt just im me or email me because im downloading itunes right now and im gonna test it. but still if it doesnt work just im me or email me.

Try limewire or frost wire they dotn have viruses and they r not fake music on them  i always use them and dont have a singal virus on my comp Good luck

Well, there are plenty of places that you can download copyrighted music for free, but if you live in the US prepare to deal with the RIAA trying to sue you into poverty. Also, you are likely to run into viruses or scams, because there's a reason you can't easily get free music instead of paying for it.

On the other hand, there are plenty of places that have tons of independent music by artists and bands not signed to the major labels for free. Search Google for music released under the Creative Commons license (in short, an alternative license to copyright that includes being able to legally get it for free). You may also wish to try the Podsafe Music Network at http://music.podshow.com/ which offers music from artists for free download. You have to register as a podcaster with the PMN to download, but the whole idea of it is that podcasters (internet radio shows, basically) can play these tracks by artists for free and promote the artists, all without having to worry about copyright.
