Free running question.?

when people free run is doing flips and other type of flips part of it or is that parkour?

and how do i roll and how do i time it if i jump

off a roof or sumthing?

  1. YOU ROLL AS SOON AS YOU HIT THE GROUND..LEAN FORWARDS AS YOU ARE GETTING NEAR THE GROUND...FLIPS ARE PART OF FREE RUNNING....ITS LIKE YOU ARE RUNNING THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU FLIP


  2. parkour is more about conserving energy while getting from point A to B as fast as possible

    free running is pretty much the same except it tends to be more planned out and flips and tricks r added for aesthetic purposes

    americanparkour.com is a really good place to ask others for help and it has some good tutorial vids too

    When you dive, place your hands towards one side of your body (the opposite side from the shoulder you roll on). When you do this it creates the diagonal, so instead of going arms--head--back--***--feet, you go arms--shoulder--hip--feet

    practicing rolls and softening ur landings r most important so u can avoid injuries
