French open question [tennis]?

Question

Can anyone tell me what happened to Maria Sharapova vs. Mattek game a few minutes ago? Why was the game suspended? What was the discussion between the chair and the players? I could not understand it. Thank you

Thanks for asking this. I was ready to start watching and there they went.  At least its not raining now.  Weird conditions in paris, that's for sure. Part of why I like this game, its so messy!!!

It was suspended due to darkness, it is a 6 hour difference from NY and France, it was about 9:28pm when it got suspended.  Conditions like those it is hard to see the ball.  Sharapova vs. Mattek wasn't even supposed to play today, but I guess they thought Sharapova could finish her off in an hour or so.

hey...u were also watching that one..??..mee too was...actually I am DIE_HARD fan of Sania Mirza and Mattek has been Sania's best Doubles partner till now..Mirza/mattek will be again at Birmingham and then ..Wimbledon..

.neway..lets get back to match...I think it must have been suspended due to darkness..i don't think they had any rain probs..they were actually scheduled to play on Court Suzanne Lenglen but were moved to Court philipe Chartrier as Ferrer rammed over Santoro 61 60 60 on Chartrier court...

yeah..now sure,,that was darkness...chek this...
