  1.   All you need to do is make more friends.

  2. hey, same thing happened to me the first few days...I just started hs last week. I don't know how it happened, but I managed to meet and become friends with a whole bunch of people. I do hate eating with the upperclassmen though. They are so scary! haha.

I'm glad I can relate to someone. I have a few close friends, but only a few in my lunches. I felt like a complete loser, but then I realized that I'm sure everyone felt the same way the first few days.

Everything will be okay, just give it some time.

  3. I started high school today too.  Idk, hopefully it will get better!!!  The classes were sooooooo boring though.  We expect the first day to be fun and exciting, and it's not (at least it wasn't for me), but really, i wouldn't be surprised if it gets much better.  Think of a movie, a good movie that you like.  At the beginning it's kind of slow, but as time progresses it gets more entertaining...and it really just gets better, doesn't it?   ....  Maybe high school will be the same way.  Let's hope.

    * I think a really important thing is to keep a good attitude about it.  I've only started HS, but i do know one thing....Your HS experience is only as good as you make it.

  4. No, this is just for today

high school will be one of the best times of your life trust me

after a while you will find new friends to hang around at lunch

if not look for people that are feeling the same way

  5. i started high school four weeks ago and it's been pretty awesome. freshman are viewed as immature to the upperclassmen, which seems to be pretty accurate in most cases. it's also a responsibility it seems for the sophomore to make the freshman miserable (they shout stuff at us during assemblies...jerks.) it happened to them and now the torch has been passed to them to carry on the torment. try and get in tight with the sophomore...join a club or during one of your electives ask them for help...be it finding a class or with a homework problem. if all else fails, try to just be seen and not heard, i suppose. i hope your day tomorrow is a butt load better! =]

  6. omg i was miserable when i first started HS. I didnt know anybody but then i got used to it and i made a ton of friends. trust me, youll end up being friends with the ppl in your classes even if you dont want to. the upperclassmen are pretty much @$$holes most of the time. it comes naturallly. like im a junior and i already think freshmen are lame

  7. My first day as a freshman was personally a total blur and I just remembered that there were toooo many people with either facial hair, big,baby-filled bellies, or with a little too much skin showing. I think every school is different with different people who can affect a person. First days of anything are usually always hectic and strange at any school. The days after that were okay in general but there a little bumps in the road with fights and what not. If problems erupt for you at your school you should talk to someone or you can even transfer to a new school. Make friends, have fun and make the most of it-come on,it's high school. ;]

  8. My son is a sophomore and is here with me.

He says no, it won't suck forever. It might suck for the first few days, but then you'll get used to the high school, and things will be fine.
