  1. get rid of the ball and play simple

  2. my advice is just run through everyone no matter how big they are...never be scared to challange...the pain only hurts for a min...but the memories last forever....when i was in high school i was the only girl on the varsity team....and we only played all boys team....and im 85lbs and had to challange all these bigger guys and to everyones surprise i could take a few of them down...and brusies just make for awsome stories

  3. The first thing most people notice about Varsity is how fast the play is.  Not only are the players fast, everything happens quickly.  Players also go in harder and hit harder.  The refs overlook most minor fouls.  Be careful in not overexerting yourself in JV.  If you are starting for Varsity, then you won't play a ton of JV.  If you are just a benchwarmer for varsity, then keep a good attitude, which is key.

  4. Have CONFIDENCE! you shouldn't be asking questions like this. If you don't have confidence, you have nothing. If your coach is putting you on varsity, he has faith in you and your ability. You've got to match him for that. Good Luck.
