  1. In alot of cuisines it is known as a crouquette, in greek croqueta, in Japan, Koroketa. It is usually a blend of meat, veg, rice or binder, dipped in egg and breadcrumbs and fried.

One of my favs is an Italian one, made with rice, chopped salami, chunks of mozzerella cheese, and breded deep fried and served with a tomato sauce, when I worked in Japan the Koroketa are made like small patties and are either chicken, pork or seafood and served with a sauce like the famous Takoayki, octopus fritter, a blend of a soya based sauce and a sweetish mayo on it.

  2. Meatball?

    Fish Ball?

    Falafel?

  3. Not tripping my trigger.

What's your question, by the way?

  4. sauerkraut balls?
