From Naples aiport to Positano?

Question

My husband and I are staying in a hotel in Positano for 4 nights in May. What are the ways we can go from the airport in Naples to Positano and vice-versa? Any websites that will show departure times? The Metro del Mare website says "service suspended"...

One of the greatest ways to approach is by ferry... the spectacular view will get you in the mood for your vacation right away! from the airport to the harbor you can catch a cab for around 30 Euros and see some of Naples on the way. Once at the harbor you can catch a ferry to Sorrento or maybe even to Positano. Sorrento is 10.50 € one way and takes about 30 minutes. On your way there by ferry you will have Vesuvio the volcano on your left, the coastal view all over the place, a nice view of Capri and Sorrento up ahead - stunning!

Have you tried asking your hotel for departure times? They should have a current schedule.

If you don´t like boats you can always catch the train that runs from Naples to Sorrento and go from there.

Whichever form of transporation you choose, I hope you have a great time in the vertical town of Positano and it´s gorgeous surrounding area :-)
