Frustration card game for 1 player?

Question

I am talking about a card game - not advertising. It is played with one deck. You start by turning over 4 cards and matching(playing balance of cards on like suits or numbers or laying down in the row. But in the end you have to wind up with only one pile of cards. Someone has questioned the rules we usually play by.
