what was the name of your first horse you owned? Er, my instructor kind of "gave" one of his horses to me. His name was Mac. And after Mac was euthanized, my instructor "gave" me another horse to get me back into riding. Her name is Stella.

was was the horses coloring? Mac was black. Stella is a dark grey.

how much did you pay for your first horse? I've earned the privilege of riding them through hours of working at the barn.

First horse I ever rode was Lady - she was almost as wide as she was tall and they didn't have a saddle to fit her, my legs stuck straight out to the sides.

She was female ( of course) and around 20 years old - she looked like the classic hairy Thelwell pony

Technically he was given to me but I gave the giver a GSD puppy in return.

I think I was about 10 years old when I nagged my way into riding for the first time. ( not counting beach donkeys)

It wasn't long after that I fell off for the first time - learning to trot bareback on a horse with a back like a farmhouse table.....just a matter of time till it happened really.

Some - I don't keep count anymore and it's really something I try to avoid if at all possible.
