I just learnt that my nearly 6 month old daughter has been deliberately pushing her Dummy out of the cot when she's supposed to be going to sleep... of course I go in and get it for her.... smart little chicky!!!

Do you have any funny stories about your little one?

  1. my daughter who is 2 was potty trained quickly after turning 2 last august (be 3 the 31st of this month), learned quick on using the potty for more things than just going potty in.  every night at bedtime she just has to go to potty 2 or 3 times within an hour before going to bed for the night.

  2. My son intentionally throws toys, blankets, bottles, etc. out of his crib and says, 'uh-oh!' as if it were an accident; he's been doing that since 10 months old.

Now, when he sneezes, we say, 'God bless you!' so he fake sneezes so we'll keep saying it.

He turned 1 year old two weeks ago, and 2 days after turning 1 I took him to my friends house to play with her son, (who is 6 days older than him) and her discipline is to say, '1!.. 2!.. 3!' to her son, and when she gets to '3!' he'd better have stopped what he was doing .. anyway, she was counting at her son and said, 'ONE!' and my son said, 'TWO!' and we both started laughing .. LoL, he was trying to help her discipline her 1 year old! :)

    Edit to Add:

of course there are no hard feelings :)

.. I'm sorry if I came off rude the other night, I didn't mean for it to be like that .. I just got a little too defensive when you edited to me. I apologize for that :)

.. your daughter is adorable by the way! I hope you had a chance to read that on that other question I answered .. I ended up deleting the whole thing I wrote because after I re-read everything I wrote, it did come off a little harsh ..

  3. My daughter, who will be 7 mos on sunday :) growls.  My babysitter has 2 boys of her own and they are typical boys---loud and rowdy and full of energy-- so they are always running around growling at each other like dinosaurs.  My baby has been 'growling' at people for about 2mo's now.  It's sooo funny to see the expression on peoples faces when they stop to look at her and she looks up at them and growls.

  4. yap! i had mine too,my daughter is 2 month old she is formula and breastfeeding too,she loves formula but i rather breastfeed her,she would  l**k the nipple so she would know if its bottle or  just my nipple. everytime she does that i just say you are work of wonders! babies are smart!

  5. haha! Mine does the same thing. Except she throws them behind a lot of times too, and then I have to move the whole dang crib to get to them! She also chucks all her toys out of her play pen when she doesnt want to be in there. Mind, shes never in their for longer than 10-15 min at a time. But when she doesn't want to be you can hear the toys flying!! The other day I also caught her feeding the dog cheerios. She would put one in her mouth, and drop one down to the dog...it was kind of cute.
