Fur question?

i'm soo against killing animals for fur, but do uggs have real fur and are those sheep killed?

Uggs have real fur.

They're generally fur lined.

Some of them have wool as well. But wool is cruel, Uggs get their wool from Australia where they used mulesing- which is where the animals gets chunks of flesh torn off of them in process of getting their wool.

Sheep "fur" is known as wool. Sheep are generally not killed for their wool, since the wool doesn't need to be attached to the skin to be used. (Killing them would be a huge waste... wool grows back.)

That being said, sheepskin DOES require that an animal is killed, like any form of leather.

Uggs are made from sheepSKIN ... so, whether or not the FUR is real, is immaterial - since the boot itself is made from sheep

They are sheep skins and they are killed dead.

Uggs are made of real Australian sheep skins. The sheep aren't killed specifically to make uggs, but buying uggs does support slaughterhouses and it increases the demand for sheep skins.
