Future Teaching Scholarships?

I was wondering does anyone know of any scholarships for future teachers?

Many states offer grants for future teachers.  For example, here in Mississippi there are grants if you either teach a critical shortage subject or in a critical shortage area.  If you accept the grant, it pays all of your tuition and you have to agree to teach for 4 yrs in either the subject or area or you have to pay the grant back.

Check the state dept. of edu in you state to see if any such grants are available.

I'm not sure of any teacher scholarships, however, they do have the teacher forgiveness loan. Which is if you take out a loan for school and you then teach in a "needy" area, your loan may be forgiven. Do a search on the teacher forgiveness loan, you should be able to get information as well as the application.
