Can you please help me answer these question if you are a gambler.This is for a schools oral.Thank you

1-Do you gamble often? how often?

2-Do you start to put your gambling first?

3-Do you think about gambling most days?

4-Do you ever gamble alone?

5-Do you sometimes gamble more then you can afford to loose?

1-Do you gamble often? how often?

I gamble in a casino (Atlantic City) 2-3 times per year.  I play slots when I'm there; regular slots and Video Poker.  Throughout the year I buy scratch-off instant lottery tickets on a regular basis.  No more than the $5 cards though; and I never drop more than $10 in one sitting.

I do play No Limit Hold'em poker online though...  ALL the time.  But I don't play with real money so I don't know that it counts as gambling.  It is addicting though.

2-Do you start to put your gambling first?

No.  Everything else in my life comes before gambling.

3-Do you think about gambling most days?

Unfortunately, yes.  But I don't act on it.  I just visit the Atlantic City forum on the Trip Advisor web site and read about other people's gambling adventures.

4-Do you ever gamble alone?

I do not enjoy gambling alone.  I did it once and went through $250 in 45 minutes playing slots.  After that, I decided gambling alone was not a good idea.

5-Do you sometimes gamble more then you can afford to loose?

Yes, but I never suffer as a result.  I usually break even when I gamble.

1) Daily I do it for a living

2) No It is my job but because of flexible hours I can work around everything else. Going out, my GF, working out gets priority because the casino will be there when there is nothing else to do.

3) I do it daily so I think about it while doing. If I'm on vacation though I never think about it.

4) Yes

5) No. I've been doing this for 18 years. I wouldn't do it if I was a losing player or if I didn't know how to manage variance.
