  1. Do both, they are both great for each other anyway.

Golf with help your basketball because it develops hand eye coordination, being able to think creatively and patience.

Basketball helps golf cause it gives you stamina, explosiveness, and disclipine.

Do both and be the best you can be at them.

  2. I would play both sports.   BBall is good because you run so much and therefore good for your cardiovascular workout.

Golf is good for your mental aspect, don't give up easily or

don't get pissed when your ball is in the water.   It will also make

    your body more flexible.

  3. I would stick with golf, less injuries

  4. Play both - basketball in the winter and golf in the summer.  You can't be just a one trick pony.

  5. Im a junior in high school and chose to give up basketball to play golf and i don't regret doing it. Golf is way more fun, and like someone else said before you don't get injuried. Plus its easier to play golf in college than it is basketball. I'm not an outstanding player but i could still play division 3 golf in college. With golf you have more possibilities. I say you play golf. If you work hard enough( there are many scholarships that go unclaimed in womens golf) you can get a scholarship.

  6. Depends on what you want to do with the sports.  If you want to possibly get a scholarship to college via one of the sports, I would go with one or the other.

  7. Just do both man.  In B-ball you're going to get a much more physical based workout that will keep you in shape overall whereas developing your skills at golf and getting good will lead to a lifelong sport you'll be able to play and enjoy.  Just view B-ball as a way to get a good workout even if you're just riding the pine during the games, after HS you can put it away.  Personally I'm much more of a golf fan but you're young and have the time and energy to do both...just don't forget about your studies.

  8. Golf all the way. If you are mentally strong and like a challenge, stick to golf. Stay with basketball if you are tall, because the taller you get, the harder golf becomes (due to the posture and stance with the ground.)
