GPA?????????????????????

My freshman GPA was a 3, my sophomore was a 2.4, and junior was a 4. What do you think competitive colleges will think of that. Will the sophomore GPA really be a bad thing to them or will my 4 junior year GPA cover that a little? What do you think?

  1. Another thing is that in high school, each year is progressively more important. Anyone can have a rough year, but it's better that occurs as a freshman or sophomore than a junior or senior. They're going to see that junior year you got serious, knuckled down, and did some good work. Just keep it up.

Oh, and that's also true about the cumulative GPA and the SAT.

  2. Colleges will like to see the improvement but they will also consider your total GPA and other factors such as your SAT, courses taken, extra-curricular and volunteer activities, and recommendations./
