Can someone tell me what a GRE score in the 15th percentile is? See below:

The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is required. Acceptable GRE scores must be in the 15th percentile or above in each of the following areas: verbal, quantitative, and analytical. You may refer to http://GRE.com for additional test information. The GMAT exam (minimum score of 450) may be accepted in lieu of the GRE.

  1. It means that your score has to be in the top 15% of the scores of the takers of the test made. (If 100 people took the exam your score has to be higher then the score of the 85th person or better, to be in the top 15% percential) All the Best
