GUITARSSS!! help with songs and picking?

i need help with what song to learn how to play, i just started so an easy song would be appreciated. i would also like to know how i can pick really fast up and down, i cant keep the speed up. please help me.

well, i am pretty new with guitar myself, and i am trying to learn smoke on the water my deep purple, it is a simple song, and i come to find it very easy to play & learn. And as to the picking problem, im sorry but i can't help you there as i am fairly new to it myself.
