Gambling? Good or bad?

Can gambling be good?

Is there any other reason of it being bad other than it being addicting?

It's good! Who else gets paid $1200 to drink 6 bottles of chilli sauce? Who makes $100,000 searching for ant hills in a garden with my own feet? Who gets paid to swim to  floating seafood restaraunts?

It can be bad because it can cause to be in debt to someone.

Its good if you are the proprietor. Otherwise, its rigged to get your money from you.

Good as long as it's in moderation...if your family is  starving cause your spending all your $$ on tickets...you have a serious problem

If you are going to gamble, gamble with money you can afford to lose.  Look at it as expensive entertainment.  Sometimes you want to see a movie, sometimes you want to play cards.  Cards are way more expensive.  Never gamble money you need to pay your basic bills with like house, car, insurance, utilities, and grocery.  Good luck cause as they say in the gambling world, I'd rather be lucky than good.

it depends entirely on why you do it. Are you playing as a little bit of fun only betting what you can afford to lose, or is it something you want to make a quick buck out of. If ther latter... its bad. it is never a guarunteed income, and if you have responsibilities in your life then gambling should never come above this.
