Game sound problems?

Question

ok, while playing battlefield: bad company singleplayer, on the cutscenes i can't hear anybody talk but can hear background noises such as explosions. I can hear people talk while playing the game but can't hear them talk during cutscenes. I've tried each of the sound options (TV, Hi-fi, home cinema) but none work.

My TV is a ONN 32 inch LCD and i'm wondering if that may be the problem. Any suggestions?
