  1. Wow, thats an awesome PC, though how much is that in £ sterling? if my £1 = $2 math is correct, about £1050, which isnt bad. (in rip-off britian)

make sure you have 64-bit vesion of Vista, or youll only register as 2GB of RAM ( the 2GB of ram onthe Radeon eats into the 4GB RAM max on 32-bit Vista/XP) n obviosulyy Vista has DX10 for hte new gmaes, n DX 11 is coming out in next year.

actually does the Motherbaord wiht a Nvidia chipset run Radeon cards in Crossfire? i thought the nvidia chipset boards only run SLi ( being a nvidia grpahics card technolgy) so chekc that before yoou get 2 Radeon cards.

  2. Actually the specs, u have written down, are d**n AWESOME! If u were to buy that machine you'd have a Serious Gaming Rig! Between the GTX 280 and the HD4870, the Radeon card is a lot cheaper, and has faster ram, But the GTX 280, is known to have better frame rates, maybe 1 or 2 higher than the Radeon card, nothing big. But its mostly just on what you prefer Nvidia/Radeon. But goodluck, soon you'll have an awesome Machine!!! I wish i had those specs.

Oh yeah, if u are going with (2) Radeon cards, get atleast 1000w psu, thatll run it like a charm, with 750w you'd be like just powering it up, maybe not powering it up enough so if u are getting 2, go with 1000w. !!! Good Luck bud!

  3. WOW!

  4. that sounds like a good price, but you may get a better deal at ibuypower.com
