  1. You can actually buy garlic butter which is much easier, just spread it on and in the oven!

  2. use the power or even fresh garlic that has been crushed and mix it with butter then spread on the bread, add a small amount of crushed, dried parsley flakes after your spread with the garlic butter.

  3. Use powder, garlic salt is so salty it will ruin it.

  4. the easiest and best way to make garlic bread is to start off by making your own garlic butter.

mix together some softened salted butter, freshly crushed garlic and choped parsely..........spread this on your bread and u have the best garlic bread ever!

  5. Garlic powder.  The salt would be far too salty for bread.  Try taking some fresh crushed garlic (the kind you can buy in a jar already crushed) and mix some with butter or margarine and spread it on bread then pop under the broiler.  It is really good.

  6. at my house we use garlic powder

  7. You can use whichever you prefer.  I prefer garlic salt; the flavor is not as strong as when you use garlic powder.

  8. powder for sure, i also add crushed garlic and parmesean cheese.

for less greasy garlic bread, use mayo instead of butter.

  9. We use the Garlic Butter you can buy in the butter section. Spread evenly on bread and broil until butter is melted and bread is slightly crunchy.

  10. I buy minced garlic in little jars from the grocery store and use that on garlic bread tastes amazing and its way healthier for you. but if you dont have that use powder

  11. i'd mince the garlic, fresh garlic is always best.

  12. surprisingly, just garlic

  13. Hi! Use fresh garlic, 2-3 good size cloves but use a small hand held grater to grate the garlic really fine. You can also add a little parsley or basil to your garlic butter and even a little parmesan cheese. If you use salted butter, that should be enough salt. You don't want it too salty.

  14. real garlic (cut into very small pieces) and butter are the way to go...

  15. garlic powder, definitely.

  16. I'd use garlic powder or you could over do it and it could end up too salty since butter and margarine also has a salty taste.  You can always salt it later if it needs some.

  17. I prefer fresh garlic along with salt and butter (or olive oil).  Sometimes I add Parmesan or Oregano too.

  18. both works the same =)

  19. I dont use eather but, since you asked, spread butter on the bread and sprinkle garlic powder on it,  than toast it and eat it.

  20. powder

  21. Make a paste using fresh garlic, no salt butter and a little olive oil. Spread it on thick on a loaf of good Italian bread. Wrap in foil and bake, I like it toasted. Hey, you just made me hungry.

  22. Fresh agarlic! Use a press, mix it into butter, & slop it on. Then bake it.  Yuuuummmmmm!

  23. i use powder the salt makes it to salty

  24. if you  want the bread to be saltly use salt if not use powder.

  25. i always use garlic salt, because for me it's easier to manage how much you put.

but don't put too much, because that stuff is really saltehhhh
