Gas Permeable Contact lenses

Question

I have been wearing the gas permeable (hard) contact lenses for more than a year now. A week ago, the left side got irritated for an unknown reason. I took it out and cleaned it several time.... but whenever I wore it, my eye felt heavy and irritated. I checked with my optometrist, he said the left lense looked fine. Should I go back to him and order another one? Maybe my eye expands, and it doesn't fit any more? ( I have been exercising lately-- but I don't think that is the reason) Thanks

You're right, exercising should not affect it - I would have your optometrist check to see if you need a new lens ordered and/or a different fit.
