Gas Prices!?!?!?

ok so we were doing a paper today in school and it said that in 2003 gas prices were under $1.50, and to day there gonna shoot up to $4.00 soon, desail is over $4.50 and thats wayyyyyy to much ...Whats ur opinion??

anyways my cousin bought a new Chevy Impala a few years ago, and that thing got 87 miles to the gallon!!! so then he got a letter after a few months from the dealer saying there was a recal. so he brought it into the dealership for a day. and they replaced the carborator on it and it only gets 19 miles to the gallon now!!!

as compared, we have nothing to really complain about. i'm proud to be an american, BUT i do have to say, for the most part, americans are spoiled.  our poor in this country live better than some of the wealthy in other countries.  just be glad you live in a country where you can actually complain and live to tell about it!

I usually only answer in Make-Up, but I have to speak my mind on this one.

BUSH IS AN a*****e! People say that we are fighting to lower the prices of gas. What the h**l? We are setting records for high gas prices! Bush said that the purpose was to find nuclear weapons. THERE ARE NONE! Yet, our troops are risking their lives for no d**n reason! Gas prices are going through the roof! I could buy an item or two at the dollar store for $3.50, yet my momma is spending that much on a gallon of gas. ONE GALLON! That makes no sense. PERIOD! George must have gotten dropped on his head if he thinks we're going to continue to pay this much. Because of gas prices it's not only effecting economy, but it's effecting businesses also! People can't wine and dine as much as they want to because of d**n gas prices!  Like I said, they need to send our troops home! They're fighting for nothing, and people are losing their loved ones everyday! These men miss out on great opportunities when they're out there. They miss the birth of their babies, Christmas, and birthdays for no reason! Bush claims that he loves America, but it seems to me that he wants us all dead.

My car has a turbo engine so it will only take premium gas.  Right now its $4.09 for gas.  Its rediculous. I remember when I was 16, it was .89 cents a gallon.

h**l i moved to kansas 7 yrs ago and gas then was only 1.00 a gallon maybe, and now it takes about 70.00 to fill our vehicle.  we need 2 get bush out of office.  he's making money off of this.  i just wish his oil company would get hit by a hurricane or something cuz maybe then he'll learn
