I was wondering if anyone who owns, or know someone who owns a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 custom or Suzuki M50 knows what real world gas mileage look like for either of the two bikes.

  1. For future reference, always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.

Sometimes the year can make a difference.

This will give you an idea, of the average MPG that motorcycles get -

  2. Actually, a little known fact for motorcycles, is that there is no specific MPG for all models. You'll find it rare that a manufacturers will include MPG ratings on their bikes.

Also with modifications that most people do, the weight(s) of the rider(s), tire condition, exhaust, etc. all affect MPG.

  3. I've never owned one of those specific models you mention, but my guess would be in the low 40's.
