Gas powered generator??

any good/safe ways to muffle the sound of a gas generator? id like to use it 4 tailgating but its too loud...thanks!

I use a 3500watt inverter hooked to 2 deep cycle batteries. Bring jumper cables so u can recharge them from the vehicle battery if needed.
