Gas station credit cards....?

Question

I live in Florida and I have seen a lot of advertisements for gas station credit cards. I was wondering which card you have and if you think its worth getting above other similar cards.

IF a) you get useful rewards

AND b) the interest rate is low

AND c) you will pay the total amount due (not just the minimum monthly due) every month

THEN it is worth it.

If either a, b or c is answered with  "no", then skip it...

I've been using a gas station credit card for a few years now.  I love my BP card.  I'm able to save 5% per gallon.  As long as you pay off your bill in full on time, you can take advantage of the rewards.

BTW, if you sign up now, you get 10% off for the first 60 days.

Most of the major chains, such as Exxon, BP, Shell, have cards but the interest rates are high, just like on any other credit cards. I use them but I pay them off every month. The cards are just a convenience so that I don't have to use cash or my regular credit cards.
