Generaors and what power they give

Question

I have a small catering trailer 10x6 it is always powered bygas but i have alight and freezer and microwave a kettle and a pie oven what sort of generator would i need forthis i only have a small thing a dont know what wattage but when i plug light in and fridge it starts flickering so i dont think its pwerfull enough plzz help a im trying to create a buiness out of this .?

Take all of your appliances and find out the power for each one. Either on the nameplate, or the users manual, or the manufacturers web site.

Powers would be in watts or VA. Add them up.

Do you want a motor-generator set, like a honda, that has a gas engine and a generator, or do you want to run everything off your battery?
