Germany is famous for mainly beer, brats, gluwhein (gloo-vine- a famous alcoholic or nonalcoholic drink server at christmas time) pretzels, and other such things... But sauerkraut, schnitzel, spatzle, soccer (football) hitler, bratwursts, breweries, pigs, commonly known as schweins, german beer glasses, and funky colored hair, especially red hair... The Black forest, and there are lots of universities and good schools there. Also, the concentration camps area common tourism site, and so is the Oktober Fest and the Pig fest, where they roast whole pigs over a fire and you get to eat it. A lot of my teenage friends I talked to when I moved back here to USA mainly wated to go to Germany because of being able to drink at such an early age!!!

Schnitzel and Spargel.  Beer.  BMW's, Volkswagons, and Mercedes.  I live in Germany right now.  They also have really good candy, especially chocolate.  They have these things called Kinder Eggs, they are milk and white chocolate eggs and inside of them is a little plastic egg with a toy you usually have to put together, my daughter loves them, I'll miss them when we get stationed elsewhere.

The beer, the sausages, breads, pretzels, and surprisingly enough the water. Oh! and their apfel kuchen (apple cake or pie) with a vanilla sauce. Their baked goods are to die for like their Krapfen (special donut found during the easter season). Definately try their spaetzle also! AMAZING stuff! Their chocolate is also popular like their KIND chocolate and other types. During Christmas season, their Lebkuchen (some sort of ginger bread cookie) and Gluhwein (hot wine) is also VERY POPULAR. sauercraut. During WW11, their enemies called them the crauts among other things. They also make the BMW auto and the Volkswagon. They love their beer. Oktoberfest(which is how they spell it) is celebrated all over the world.
