Getting braces what are they like??

had an orthodonist app 2day and he said i need braces and i will get them 8th october. but do they hurt and what are they like?

it doesn't hurt to get them on, but they ache a bit afterwards.

They get annoying sometimes, with the stuff you aren't suppose to eat, and stuff gets stuck in them, but the end result is worth it.

well, i am 12 and i actually just got them on.  It does not hurt at all to get them on.  And your teeth will hurt a bit for 2 days up to a week.  but once those first 2 days are over. it wont be anywhere bad at all. But eating could be a little problem.  Just eat soft stuff like pudding and occasionally stuff like granola bars.  It will hurt a bit but it pays off, if you do that the pain will wear off you when you eat.

Getting them on will be abit uncomfortable, not really painful more awkward. Afterwards you will feel alot of pressure on your teeth but you get used to that really quickly and not even notice it.

For the first few days you will hate it, maybe get upset or angry or feel paranoid but I promise you - after those few days you will forget you are even wearing them. you get so used to them that when it comes to getting them taken off it will feel odd not to have them.

i got my braces on this morning,

ive not been in any pain.

maybe a little, but not alot.
