Well i decided i really need to start running because i plan to join alot of high school sports and stuff so i need to get in shape and increase my lung capacity and just for better skin. I decided to start waking up at 4:30 in the morning to start running. Does anyone find this weird? lol I don't know, like seeing a woman running around the block at 4:30 in the morning? It's way cooler in the morning, so that's why i do it. Should i go one hour up or is this fine?? I'm only running for like 30-60 min, go home sleep till 7:20 and get ready for other stuff. I usually go to bed around 10pm

  1. It'S not weird at all to run in the morning. I would advise that you get up at 530 though, run for an hour, go home and not back to sleep.

This will 1. giv you more time to sleep EFFICIENTLY. And 2. after the run you will be totally awake, and if you slep again, or jsut a nap, you will get tired again.

    Just personal experience.

Also, 430 is very early, and I am not sure if it's a good idea to run on your own that early, especially for a woman.

Otherwise - go ahead! Have fun!

  2. That's good =). My coach actually has gotten up at the same time to do his running and his sets for push-ups and sit-ups. Hehe. But then if it's hard for you to get up in the morning, I suggest you to do it in the evening or mid to late afternoon.

  3. whatever you like, I've run that early and its awesome, so quiet and you have the roads all to yourself...but beware of drunks, I've been followed by a car full of drunk guys throwing bottles once when I ran in the wee hours of the moring

  4. why not just wake up 1 hour before you need to start running and start then instead of taking a nap after running, and my goodness how do you sleep after running for an hour?

  5. nothing wrong with running in the morning like that i got up at 5 sometimes during the school year so i could run two times a day. I enjoy running but if i am just doing so then it usually just for a mile or 2 but i can run and i have good endurance
