I have to get shots before I go back to school. Somehow I missed quite a few and now I have to get a tetanus booster, chicken pox, hpv, measles, meningitis, hepatitis a and b, and tb.

How bad do these hurt and will they do all in one arm?

  1. they dont hurt that bad, this is coming from sombody petrified of needles

youll probley have to have them done on different days they wont do them all in one day,

and theyll probally use both arms =]

put it this way i thnink id rather have needles than some of those dieases

  2. nope you will receive the shots in your rear end and it should only be 2-3 shots. good luck

  3. shots just feel like a little sting. and one time i had to get like 5 in my arms too. i just asked them to do the shots on different arms, so i didn't have the pain in all one arm. they did that and after the second shot, i couldn't feel the rest.

    good luck :)

  4. they will alternate arms and thighs when doing it.  They will burn a little.  Be sure to exercise your muscles afterwards so they can work thru your system.  I made the mistake of not and my leg was paralyzed for a week.

  5. yikes girl! they will do some in one arm and some in the other. the only one that really hurts is tetanus. and for the day u get them and the day after u should try and stay home and just stay on the couch the whoel day. i had ot get 3 in one day last year and the next day i passed out while i was in the kitchen and almost hit my head on the counter and tile floor. so take it easy. good luck.
