Getting off birth control? no period?

okay i am done taking the shot due to too many problems. I got off of it two months ago maybe three. And i still have not had me period? I have been having s*x but with a condom. I doubt i am pregnant but does it take a long time for your period to return? I had my daughter 10 months ago and after she was born i never had a normal period? Should i go buy a test? What kind of birth control should i go on? I have a had time taking pills unless they are really small. How small are the pills?

It can take up to a year for the period to return if one goes off of Depo-Provera.  Also, you mentioned having your daughter.  If you are nursing it can also cause the period to be delayed for a year for some women.

As for the size of the birth control pills in brands like Femcon 35 they are about the size of like a dime.

I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor as well to see what they say.
