Getting pigeons. PLEASE HELP!

Question

Well I'm getting probably 2 or 3 pairs of pigeons.

And I was wondering if anyone had some last minute recomendations or some tips about feeding, breeding, training.. ect.

look on petfinder.com   they may have baby's because if you're going to train it then they have to be babies or very young

As for training tips - well, that depends on your breed.  Oriental Rollers need different training than do racing pigeons, which need different training from Doneks, etc.

There are some basics though.  For example, never let the birds out with a full crop.  Also train them to your whistle or light or whatever you use when you feed them so that they come immediately when you call them in from outside.
