Ghost question?

Question

Why do dead people, not really loved ones, but dead people in general appear n our dreams when we sleep? Is it really them from the other side telling us there okay? But what if aren't thinking of that dead person, what if it is just completely random when they enter?

Most dreams tend to be expressions of what we think about, or an element of our subconscious giving us information (sometimes both). There isn't really a lot of other information on this, and though I've had dreams like this myself, it's not something that happens to me very often.

This doesn't sound like truly paranormal activity, from your description: it's more likely to be just good old-fashioned dreaming and something in your own psyche that needs your attention (or which might already have too much of it... decide for yourself).

I once had a friend who described to me what he thought of ghosts visiting our dreams.  His opinion is that dreams were an open world for the ghosts to travel in.  He belives that because they don't have a body, they are merly just a spirit, they can no longer travel with the rest of us.  That our dreams are like a new world to them.

It's not just dead people we have known who appear in our dreams.  People we know who are alive do as well.  As do people we have seen but don't know and people who have never existed.  Dreams are strange things, but there is no evidence to suggest we see dead people when we sleep.

when we are sleeping we may become more open simply because we are not restricted by our concience.

in our every day lives our senses are cloaked in noise, hustle and bustle and the usual worries or stresses .

when we sleep we are often more relaxed and able to open up to these higher frequencies whether we are aware of it or not.

the only thing is with visits while you sleep i am unsure just how much control you would have over that. i have not experienced this myself in a dream state so im not too sure how it works, but even those of us that deal with spirit do not always have a choice who comes through and when.

Your subconscious just happens to dream about them, sometimes I dream about live people too that I haven't even thought about for years, it does seem odd but that's the way our heads are wired up.

Nobody and I mean nobody knows what dreaming is all about. We know the mechanisms of dreams and what the brain is doing, but analysis of dreams is nothing more than conjecture.

It could be that they are either stuck between both heaven and h**l and are trying to get your attention by using your dreams. They may do this to try to ask for help. Or it could be just like you said, that they're trying to let you know they're "ok". And you asked "What if you aren't thinking about that dead person? and it's completly random when they enter?". Well it may be because that person either a loved one, a friend, someone you don't know, or even someone your not too fond of might still be in the back of your mind. We mean you might miss them but your mind doesn't want to admit it because you might not have liked that person or you did like that person but your trying to forget about them because you thought that the thought or them might bother you (make you sad). And if it's a random person, you might be thinking about them because there earth bound. Earth bound means that the spirit is attached to the land or property. They may be wanting you to "get out" or they just might be interested in you. Answer your question?

you are the light that those spirits see from the other side.  you are like the lighthouse whose light can be seen even in the deepest darkness.  so, they come to you...you are their portal.  make sure to pray and spiritually self protect before you sleep.
