Ghost vs. Banshee in Halo?

Basically which is better in each version? And can a scorpion or hog be better? What's your opinion?

I would choose banshee because it can fly really high and fire missles and dodge missles. And there is boost. I would take scorpion because it has boost and fire blue bombs.

I would go with the Banshee cause it's death from above:)  And I would take the scorpion over the hog cause you don't need really anybody else to man the guns for you.  But if it's for speed than the obvious choice would be the hog plus it's more manueverable.
