Girlfriends Sister Sees People?

Question

My Girlfriends little cousin or sister (cant remember) sees people that others dont. I have 3 questions. Befor i ask them ill tell you specific story. Her little sister was sleeping, and her parents had a fight and the girl did not wake up that night. The next morning the girl told her mom that the "boy" said to get out of his house because you and dad fight to much. Only the little girl can see this "Boy".

Question 1: What is this called???

Q2: Is there anyway to prove that there is a "Boy"

Q3: Why can only the girl see the "boy"

children can pick up spirits where adults cannt... i know this from experience...when i was 7 / 8 years old my nan and i had an entity enter our house one night, my nan could see it to...but it mostly interacted with me.. i could feel it and without going into details) it was doing some strange things in our house, but everytime he did what he did, it gave me the worse pain in my teeth...it hurt so much i was screaming...but he wasnt touching me, he was on the other side of the room... i can not explain what had happened, or why he was doing what he was doing...but it was one scary experience, one ive never forgotten...it was like having a third person in our house for that one night...

there are thousands of reports where children have seen spirits of old relatives that have died before they were born.. and only recognized them in old photos..from what ive read its common... you can set up equipment to see if you can pick up on anything, when she is experiencing seeing this boy

She's got an imaginary friend.  This is very common for kids, especially if they feel the need to displace emotions - like being sad that her parents are fighting.  Just because she didn't get up doesn't mean she didn't hear the fight, or any others they had.  Or maybe she just picked up on how you were acting the next day.  Kids are perceptive.

Children, in their innocence, have an uncanny ability to see ghosts or spirits that older people can not. Many times when a small child has an imaginary friend, it is actually a spirit. They wouldn't harm the child for the most part but there is no way you could prove they were there unless you had the type of equipment that TAPS the ghost hunters have. As the child grows up, her mind will eventually stop seeing what everyone else can already not see.

If that makes any sense.

It's possible this is just an imaginary friend.  Chances are she *did* wake up during the fight.  It could be this imaginary friend is a defense mechanism and is just her way of coping.  Maybe she needs someone to hang out with.  By creating a social situation with this imaginary boy she has someone to stick together with.  It's like a complex version of a security blanket.

But I'm not trained in child behavior, so this is all just speculation.

Children are very connected to the spirit world as they haven't become influenced by years of reprogramming (living in our modern world). Some are able to retain this gift. It can be frightening to some and matter-of-fact to others. Whose to say if she is actually seeing some one? The important thing to realize is that we create our own reality and this is real to her, therefore it is valid and not to be taken lightly. Children are known to sleep heavily through all kinds of noise as a result of their brain development. They'll even sleep quite soundly through a fire alarm, so why not a fight?

This isn't something to be afraid of or to question, but to be curious about and accepting. A closed fearful mind is a tragic thing, and children are lucky because often they have open and inquisitive minds. Just because they are young doesn't mean they are not to be trusted.

How old is that house? I get this sense that this was his house or maybe he had a house on that property. But he doesn't like them fighting all the time.

The girl... she has the ability to communicate with spirits. She has "medium" capabilities. It's actually more common with children because a) they have huge imaginations (psychic abilities play off of/use the imagination) and b) they've never been told spirits don't exist. My son has the ability to see spirits, just not as clearly.

Any way to prove the boy exists.... try searching into records of the house and property. Who owned it before. But that's my only suggestion and it came from my spirit guides. Maybe the paranormal investigators in the group will have more suggestions. she's not imagining the boy, there's nothing wrong with her.

Question #1 - She might be a medium, which is another word for a psychic that can communicate with dead people.

Question #2 - There is a way to prove there is a Boy. Contact a paranormal investigation group in your area (google it), and see if they can perform an investigation with equipment.

Question #3 - The girl might not be the only one seeing the Boy, but the only one to speak of seeing him.  The girl is probably younger than 10 years old - more likely, she's between 3 and 7.  That is the age when children speak of seeing ghosts. Children are very sensitive to paranormal activity because they've not yet developed their "shield" that tells them what's acceptable in society, and what's not.  If she suppresses her gift, it'll go away.  Don't make fun of her. I'm sure she really does see the Boy, and communicate with him. It's not that unusual!

I guess she's seeing a spirit. It's hard to tell..because she might have been saying that to get them to stop fighting.But. I don't know why she'd say to "move out"..unless SHE wants to move.They say children are more psychic than adults.

What 333 said reminded me of something...not really the same thing. When I would go to church "healing services"..the minister (who was supposed to have the gift of healing) would say that he/she could "feel" where the person's pain was..that's how he'd know what the part was that was getting healed. (Just thought I'd throw that in as "extra info"! (Wish you had told some of the other things she said her sister/niece did or said.)

Well firstly it needs to be determined if all this parental fighting is upsetting this girl, and she has manifested this "boy" as a defense mechanism. Seeing as the girl told her mom the "boy" doesn't like all the fighting, it leads me to believe, as a psychologist, that the girl is being affected by her parents fighting, and she has created this boy so that she doesn't have to say SHE doesn't like it, rather the BOY doesn't like it. This would explain why only the little girl can see it. The other, and less likely scenario, is that this little boy could be a ghost. For this to be the case, I would expect others in the home to have noticed disturbances or have seen this boy. If the family really feels it is paranormal rather than psychiatric, they may want to do historical research on their home and property to determine who lived there, and see if a boy had died there at any point in history. They you may be able to ask the little girl what the boy looks like, and have her verify information that historical records or pictures contain.

2) paranormal investigators can monitor for energy activity

3) she has the ability to separate her soul from her body and interact with ghosts because: she is intuitive of the ghosts presence, and, retains an open mind.

Of course most people prefer to keep a closed mind regarding the paranormal.

They do not believe in the paranormal, nor do they even try to comprehend the nature of it or the possibilities.

Paranormal investigators claim that situations do occur where the person seeing the ghost feels 'touch' ,or, they see movement of objects due to the energy being present of the ghost entity.
