did i start my period?

i have had discharge for about a year.

last week i had a brown sticky goo in my underwear and when i wiped. it sorta looked like discharge but it was alot more sticky. im 13 btw. i had it this month and last month. but only for 1 week. also there wasnt that much of it and sometimes it was just a little bloody.

Yes maam. It sounds like it is the beginnings of your period. Sometimes at first your periods will come and go (since you are so young and your body is adjusting). Pretty soon they will be regular cycles and not just (icky discharge). Good luck! You are growing up =]

Yes. You are getting your period. Ask a friend or parent and then can get you pads or tampons depending on which one you are more comfortable with. You should get it about every 28 days and you might want to put a panty liner in right before you think you are going to get it to avoid any embarassing moments. You can also buy compact tampons and tiny pads that can fit in your backpack or purse discretely. Hope this helps!

Yep. If you don't catch it soon it will be brown, that's why it wasn't red. And usually periods are 5-7 days. Congratulations, I guess! Haha.

Sounds like it, at least thats what i got! You should always be ready and have a pad or tampon with you all the time!
