Gixxer 600 or r6 ?

Which is the better bike overall? Also is the 750 gixxer alot more powerful than its 600 counter-part? Thanks.

Yeah the Gixxer has my vote by a good 78.4 percent. It has more hp and WAY more stability than the r6. The off-road handling of the r6 is HORRiBLe. i rode my Gixxer the other day and it runs like a dream.  way better bike

As for a road bike, this Is "Motorcycle Racing", You would get a better response in "Cars & Transportation"> "Motorcycles"

If you are talking 2007 don't sleep on the 07 CBR 600RR.

I was an R6 guy until that I got on that thing.

I love both of my gixxers.  As far as the 750 being more powerful than the 600.. depends on the years you are comparing.  generally, yeah, the 750 will have more power within the same year, but the bigger the year gap, the more variation you will have in power differences.  My '98 750 has right around the same acceleration of my '04 600... but it does weigh nearly 45lbs more.  My 600 has a lot of upgrades too, so it is hard to tell a difference for me.
