  1. By power you expect the larger cc bike to win. Not true in all cases. It depends heavily on the rider. Timing is paramount. If the 600 gets a good pull and switches gears near perfect. Its a very good chance he could win. I have seen videos on youtube where smaller cc bikes have one.

I have switch gears without clutching. I did it by accident the first time. I was really moving too. The next time I did it. I didn't close throttle and it went smooth. It was a Honda though.

  2. Proberly not that much to start, but as the 750 get in to the power range of 7000 rpm it will pull away, the longer the race the bigger the gap. 200 yds would still be in 1st gear.

  3. It depends on the launch. If the rider on the 750 can't launch, he'll lose.

If both riders were equally matched as far as skill, then I'd say half a bike to one full bike. Not much really!

  4. The new 600 is quick enough for me to keep my money in my pocket. I would not bet against it.  over that distance it would be hard to really use any extra power. it would probably come down to which got he grip off the line. I doubt the other (whichever) would catch up in time.

  5. You still need to use the clutch. The Gixers dont have kill boxs.

Who says the 750 will win. A better, lighter rider on the 600 might win.
