  1. For me, it is true. I do not consider it as a mere theory despite what people say. There are facts that clearly show that global warming is affecting us crucially.

But to be honest, even if it were not true..what is wrong with recycling or using solar energy? We can still keep doing it regardless of global warming, don't you think?

This is a really good question, by the way.

  2. Global Warming is real enough, AGW is nonsense, and recycling and conservation are just being responsible citizens of the planet.

  3. OK, global warming is a proven fact. We have to take this seriously or we'll destroy our planet.

  4. No GW is a scam . Gore's film was a lie. Look at the oil Co. making billions.

  5. Global warming is over.  It appears we are heading for global cooling. The Pacific Decadal Oscillation seems to have entered its cool phase.

The shift in the PDO can have significant implications for global climate, affecting Pacific and Atlantic hurricane activity, droughts and flooding around the Pacific basin, the productivity of marine ecosystems, and global land temperature patterns. “This multi-year Pacific Decadal Oscillation ‘cool’ trend can intensify La Niña or diminish El Niño impacts around the Pacific basin,” said Bill Patzert, an oceanographer and climatologist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. “The persistence of this large-scale pattern [in 2008] tells us there is much more than an isolated La Niña occurring in the Pacific Ocean.”

For those that did not understand, we are about to see more hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, not due to global warming, but global cooling.

  6. I believe that it is just another warming period in this inter ice age period.  There have been at least two in the past 2000 years.  The first one occurred with the fall of the Roman Republic and the second came about with the Viking uprising.

Do we as humans need to stop our greed and vast carbon footprints?  yes we do need to take better care of our resources.
