Goal For The Race Help?

I am 16 years old going to run a marathon in march ill be 17 by then

what should be my goal for the race?its my 1st marathon

i can do a mile in 6:40 and 5k in 23min kind of slow but that was the last time i ran a 5k.i could prob do it faster

so what's my goal in time?

  1. Train with Cross Country.

    Just doing a mile or couple miles each day won't really do it.

    You should be doing at least more than 5 miles per day.

    Cause believe me...

    Everyone gets really sore after the marathon.

    It doesn't really matter what you get for your mile time.

    You need to work on endurance & pacing.

    Just make sure to lots of miles per day.

    & Don't forget to drink lots of water to keep you hydrated!
