  1. Well,

    1 bowl holds 100 peanuts

    10 bowls hold 1,000

    100 bowls hold 10,000

    1000 bowls hold 100,000

    10000 bowls hold 1,000,000 (one million)

    Same thing with the cents really.

    But do you need to do it algebraically?

  2. 1. 10,000

    2.100,000

  3. the answer to 1 is 10,000,000 bowls and the answer to 2 is 100,000,000  days. I am not 100 percent sure on these answers

  4. for number one all you had to do was multiply n by 100 to until you got 1,000,000,

    For number two, you basically do the same i.e (10 x n = 1,000,000)

    Yeah, that simple, sorry i didn't give you straight up answers, but i think it's best for you to know HOW to get it, than just the answer because on a test or whatever yahoo answers won't help.

    By the way, "N" stands for any number i used n so you can figure out what number was multiplied by each count in order to get the one million figure. (once you figure out N , then you'll know  your answer)

  5. 1. Since each bowl holds 100 peanuts, you divide 1,000,000 by 100 which is 10,000 bowls.

    2. Same with this problem. 1,000,000 / 10 = 100,000 days

  6. 1) 1 bowel/ 100 peanuts= x bowels/ 1000000 peanuts

    simplify and solve for x

    1000000/100=x

    10000=x   10000 bowels

    2) 1 day/ 10 cents= x days/ 1000000 cents

    simplify and solve for x

    1000000/10=x

    100000=x    100000 days
