Going blind?

I am a diabetic of 14 years, and i'm getting these spots in my vision (like little circles) that are dark in one eye, and in the opposite eye are very bright and flicker. I've been to the eye specialist, and they said there was no retinal detachment. What the heck is going on? I don't know where to go next?

It could be that your blood sugar is out of wack or you have poor circulation. my grandma has poor circulation and she says she has spots in hers eyes. go to your diabetes doctor. right now that's the best thing to do.

Watch your diet - make sure you stay on a strict diabetic diet!

Did you tell the eye specialist that you're diabetic?

But I seriously stress that you need to see your doctor! They'll probably refer you to other specialists if they dont know whats wrong. Go as soon as possible! go today!

Never mind.Dark spots may due to red blood cells scaped into your eye's fluids from fragile retinal vessles due to diabet.Bright flashs due to the traction on you retinae originating from contracting fibrovascular membranes produced by retinopathy.But since your ophthalmologists have examined your eyes  never mind of these findings because if there was somthing wrong in your eye they would not wait any more.

Go to your doctor and find out where the best eye specialists are or look on google.

I am certain that your vision clarity and diabetes are closely related. I would mention this to your doctor because its common these two can go hand in hand.
