Going for your driving license?

Question

ok so i got my permit like a few days ago..so do i have to wait 6 months before i go for my license test ...and also can someone tell me whether the license written/ driving test is hard???

This truly depends on the laws in the particular state in which you live. Your best bet would be to contact your local DMV and ask them your next step. In Ohio, to take the test you must be 16 years old, have 40 hours of practice driving with a licensed adult and take a class through a certified driving school before you can take the test. However you also asked about the written and driving test. In Ohio you would already have taken the written test to get your permit, but if you have not, it is usually mostly common sense questions about the laws which are in the book you should have received with your temp packet. The driving test is just you and the officer driving around and they monitor your how well you control the vehicle while paying attention to the road and your surroundings. In Ohio we also have a maneuverability test as part of the written. If you can parallel park you can usually pass this test. If you practice and pay attention I don't believe any of the tests to be very hard.

ok so you live in the bay area, im almost positive that the rules are you must wait 6 months to get your liscence unless your at least 17 and a half. i just took my driving test. the test pretty much is based on where you go. some places are harder than others. there is no written test just driving. hope it helps

ya idk in which state u r but in texas.. ya u have to wait 6 months after ur permit in before u take the tests..the computer test .. is really reallly easy.. like they ask u about fines a lot. and what happens when drivind drunk.. and when u r charged with DUI.. dats pretty much it.. its really easy and the good thing is that if u keep gettin a lot of wrong answers they will ask u more and more questions.. i passed with 90 and was asked like i dont remember exactly but around 6-7 questions very easy.. the driving test is also easy just relax....they wont fail u on that one.. so once u done with those test then u get ur provisional license which has some restrictions like no more than 2 people that are non family members in the car. or smtn like that dont remember but there are some restrictions... so u gona have that till u r 18 than ull have drivers license... dats pretty much it..
