Going to Ireland!!!!!!?

I will be in Ireland for 4 months from sep to dec...I was wondering if someone could tell me what I should take in terms of clothing...I bought a raincoat and a heavier fall/winter coat! is that enough?! also, i took several pairs of jeans and long sleeve shirts mainly

  1. What they said, but also a pair of long boots with a low heel that you can wear in the rain under jeans and stuff. Essential.


  2. This isn't St Tropez. It's Ireland. You'll probably be frozen and wet so bring plenty of 'terminal' clothing.

  3. In Ireland, layering is essential as the weather can change many times within one day. A few sweaters are a must, but if you can, buy them in Ireland as Irish sweaters ('jumpers') are made so well.

    A good hat to keep the rain off of your head, and a good scarf should suffice. Waterproof shoes would be good, too.
