  1. I went to  Ireland when i was ten. beautiful place... didn't spend much time in Dublin, but got direction from a drunk there, haha... have fun!!

  2. I dont live in dublin so i dont know about tatoos. I live in the south in Limerick  if you are travelling arround you will have a wail of a time. Dublin can be a bit expensive for digs but you will probably find that guest houses are a little more reasonable.hope you have a pleasant trip and enjoy your stay in Ireland. oh and be sure to bring an umbrella our weather is very unpredictable

  3. if you are going to North Ireland then i suggest you dont..according to Time magazine they have been rated the Most Rasicst, and anti everything

  4. Dublin.......!......

    Go to Temple Bar!!!

Its the most expensive place in Dublin, but if you go during the week, there is often "offers" on drink...

(also, a little trick we do is to slip a small bottle of vodka in my bag so i dont have to buy so much in there lol)

    Id recommend.....

Dorans (GREAT live music and food)

Try Barcode (thursdays are cheapest btw!).....i go there all the time and im 18 (its kind of young place, youd love it i reckon!)

    21's

    Reds

    The Viperoom

    Whelans

Theres alway great music in Tripod....it a lovely place too

If you want a really "irish" pub....try Johnnie Fox's pub, in Glencullen on top of the Dublin mountains.....out if the way, but it is the highest pub in Ireland lol

    Bars aside,

    You can visit Dublin Castle

the Dublin Spire is on O'Connells Street (extremely overated but very tall lol)

Depending what youre into, theres lot of museums and art galleries such as the National Gallery and the Irish Museum Of Modern Art.

(as already mentioned) there are some great bus tours

    Phoenix Park

Grafton Street/Henry Street (for shopping!) - theres a cool vegetarian cafe called "Nude" near there too lol

If you want to go to a shopping centre, go to "Dundrum Town Centre.

Also, taxis rip you off sooo badly here....if you can, get the Nightlink (bus) which operates in Dublin in the early hours!!

    about the tattoo thing.........

the best by far is Celestial Ring, St. Stevens Green Centre

(several of my friends have gone there for tattoos and some piercings)

    trust me, best in Dublin

    ;)

but (just in case!) other good ones are...........

    Zulu Tattoo, Temple Bar, D2

    Classic Ink, Temple Bar, D2

    Sacred Art, Fownes Street

    Wild Eagle Tattoo, Talbot Street

    Snakebite, Middle Abby Street

  5. wow...the first 2 answerers are serious idiots..clearly they are not irish

just go with the flow, be friendly and people will be friendly back to you! there are loads of good tattoo shops in dublin, google it and im sure you will find a good one   Oh and you will also probably be shocked to see that were not all drunk all the time here....shame on those who have answered with stupid stereotypical "drunk" things(its ignorant)....im from Waterford

  6. I'm Irish, live in Dublin :)

It's a great country, can be really expensive though so save up! ;)

The nightlife is brilliant, Temple Bar is really the place to go. The Morgan Bar, Cafe En Seine & any bars or pubs on the Southside of the City Centre are great.

In Temple Bar there is a shop called Ad Hoc & beside it is a tattoo parlour, also Temple Bar is Sacred Art. & there is also a place called Snakebite which is good & Celestial Ring (which is one of the best) in St. Stephen's Green shopping centre.

When you come over just make sure you've got more than enough money because it can be expensive. Also do expect the not so great weather. It's never dreadful but it's rainy a lot. Also get a LonelyPlanet guide because there is so much to do in Dublin you might want to research where you want to go before you come over.

& have a pint of Guinness too ;)

    Good Luck!

  7. bring sweaters! it always rains and be ready to drink tons of Guinness!! haha have fun!!

  8. hi you

to you i will give no bull when you get to Ireland pay cork a visit
