  1. Funny you should ask - I used to work there for three consecutive seasons back in the late 80's when La Ronde was still owned by LAMARC (now Six Flags runs it)!

If my memory is correct, Montreal Bus Station is right by Berri-UQAM so you can take the short metro ride until Papineau station direction Honoré-Beaugrand (only two stops!) and from there, take the 69 bus that only goes to La Ronde.

That bus gets on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, gets off the bridge about half way and goes down to Île Saite-Hélène/Parc Jean-Drapeau and stops right by the Amusement Park entrance gates.

    How long will it take?

Taking into account waiting for the bus - I'd say maybe about 30 minutes.

You could also get off at Parc Jean-Drapeau metro station direction Longueuil and take that little tour bus all the way to La Ronde but that's a little longer journey (still walkable though - I've done it many times on foot!).

    It's all up to you!

Have a great time (and great memories!) at La Ronde with your friend!
