Ok so like a long time ago I bought this big thing of goldfish flakes for my fish. its taking me sooooo long to get rid of it. Its still half full.

Ive noticed that some of the flakes are a little dry and a it hard to the touch but not like inedible.

I also feed them fresh flakes but should I just discard of them or is it ok?

Thanks.

  1. you should probably get fresh ones..their really cheap..wouldnt hurt.

  2. Umm, well, my uncle had flakes so their not that bad, but he mostly fed his gold fish pellets, he's had experience for over 12 years. Sooo, pellets would be better i think. =D

  3. If the fishes won't eat the old flakes, just throw it away and feed them the new flakes instead. If not, just keep them until they run out.

As long the fishes are content on eating them, then continue to feed them.
