  1. I'm 5'9", 180 lbs. and I'm in between shirt sizes myself.  I'd go with the large.  If you went XL, it'd probably hang to your knees since golf shirts normally run a bit bigger.

  2. The sizes of different manufacturers vary quite a bit.  I have found that generally the more expensive brands tend to run a little larger.  You don't want a golf shirt to be too tight so I would say go with an XL.  Most tend to shrink a little when you put them in the dryer anyway so better to be on the big side than too small.

  3. golf shirt are made big, so get a size smaller..... or check with the company about their size

  4. large, golf shirts are usually taylored bigger than the average shirt size since you have to move and twist a lot.  It will also shrink a bit when you wash it.

  5. If you're unsure of the size, go to www.tgw.com and see if you can find a similar shirt there in the apparel section. If it is a newer shirt, they have an "actual size" calculator there to help you. For instance, the mock that Tiger wore last year with the alligator sort of print to it...the XL version of that shirt, was actually only slightly larger than a "normal" medium....
